Summer 2008 Nature Classes at Woodbourne Preserve

Woodbourne Forest and Wildlife Preserve is a 600-acre conservation area located in rural northeastern Pennsylvania. Visitors to Woodbourne enjoy hiking among one of the few remaining tracts of old growth forest in the area. Woodbourne provides an ideal location for birdwatching, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, photography, landscape painting and educational programs. With inspirational vistas and many different terrains—upland hardwood forests, meadows, a 10-acre pond and wetland area, winding creeks, bog islands—Woodbourne provides abundant opportunities to enjoy a diverse range of wildlife and plants, as well as the quiet of unspoiled nature.

Please join us for a quiet trek or educational gathering, and take advantage of the uncommon beauty and unique resources of Woodbourne Forest and Wildlife Preserve.

Woodbourne Forest and Wildlife Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy and Woodbourne's stewardship committee.
