What Makes Woodbourne Special?

Woodbourne is home to a beautiful and varied terrain of old growth hemlock and hardwood trees, open meadows, steep hillsides and a scenic boggy pond. While enjoying the views along several trails, visitors may see white-tailed deer, wild turkey, black bear, coyote, songbirds, waterfowl, frogs, turtles, snakes and small mammals such as chipmunks and gray and red squirrels. Some of the more unusual species found at Woodbourne include the River Otter, Robbins Pondweed and Lilypad Clubtail Dragonfly.
